Since 2016 we have to pay for the disposal of fridge and freezer cfc gasses which if released into the air we all breath are harmful to our planets ozone and us. A modern fridge freezer does not consist of enough metal for us to offset this cost so unfortunately we now have to charge for the removal of any Sheffield fridge, freezer or fridge freezer combination regardless of domestic or commercial applications.

Due to air conditioning technology there has to be lots of metal condensed inside an air conditioning unit for the condensing process. This offsets the cost incurred to us for the correct disposal of the units harmful gas.
